Hot Topics in the Cool Pines--Employment Law Conference
On Thursday, September 27th, the Prescott Area HR Association (PAHRA) is sponsoring a full day employment law conference at the Prescott Resort that will be geared towards employers of all sizes. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Arizona Industrial Commission; as well as highly recognized employment lawyers, will be speaking. Topics include medical marijuana in the workplace, an update on the state paid sick leave law, common violations of federal pay and civil rights laws; and things that employees do to get employers in trouble.
