Les Poules a' Colin in Concert at OTCA

Les Poules à Colin’s sound is a seamless blend of their strong folk upbringing and North American influences that range from old-time to jazz, with some provocative and moody effects. Their repertoire is a mix of original and traditional pieces and revels gorgeous vocal, instrumental and rhythmic prowess.

Taking their name from a traditional song, Colin’s Hens (formed in 2009) are five descendants of trad musicians who have been raised behind the scenes of folk festivals. They learned their trade at the knees of some of Quebec’s greatest traditional musicians in an area famous for its living heritage.
