The Mission of the Clarkdale Historical Society & Museum is to provide an engaging museum experience rich in stories and artifacts while professionally stewarding our historical collections and building a sustainable organization for the future. Our vision is preserving the spirit of Clarkdale by illuminating the past.
Our focus is the Verde Valley...primarily Clarkdale and its establishment by William Andrews Clark in 1912. Holdings include original records of the company-owned town of Clarkdale (1912-1957), blueprints of many of the residences and buildings, cemetery records for Clarkdale, Cottonwood, and Jerome, photographs, artifacts, and oral histories from many long-time residents.
Please join us in this important mission by becoming a member, donating items related to Clarkdale's history, or by making a tax deductible donation. Benefits of membership include a 10% discount on all items in our bookstore and news of upcoming events.
